What is CBD?
Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a naturally occurring chemical found in hemp plants. It’s currently being thoroughly studied by researchers all over the world to determine it's potential health benefits.

CBD is defined as a phyto-cannabinoid, which means that it’s produced by plants. This chemical has a similar structure as anandamide, which is a cannabinoid produced by processes within the human body.

Is CBD a recreational drug?
No! CBD has no psychoactive properties, and is a natural supplement.

Is CBD legal?
CBD is extracted from the hemp plant and is legal in the UK, so long as it contains no more than than 1mg THC in the final packaged product.


If you are outside the UK, or plan to take any of our products out of the country, we advise finding out the legal status of CBD products in your destination.

How much CBD should I take?
Unfortunately we cannot advise on dosage or products for ailments or illnesses. 
You would need to seek medical advice.

How are CBD crystals made?
CBD is made by extracting CBD oils from hemp plants, and then using heat and evaporation to remove impurities. Nothing needs to be added, only taken away.

The main two types of CBD currently are full spectrum and isolate. You can learn more about the differences between these tow types of CBD in the next question.
